Peace & love everyone! So, this post is dedicated to the love of beaded bracelets, and if you're here, you want to get down and dirty, and Do It Yourself! Welcome, friend! As you can see above, I'm going to show you how to make some BEAUTIFUL DIY handmade jewelry in the form of boho beaded bracelets that are adjustable! Not only are you able to use round beads, but you can also do it #TheBohemianGem way and use irregular shaped crystals as your beads. Sounding good so far? Great! For this handmade jewelry DIY, you're going to need some string beads. I usually pick mine up from Michael's, which has a broad selection of beads made of acrylic, seashells and even crystals, my fave! It's easier to find what you need if you have a color palette in mind before going. Also, be sure to grab some accent beads with large holes so that you can add some flair to the ends of your strings. Don't forget to use your coupons!
You'll also need cording. You can find cording made of all sorts of materials. I find that the thicker cording works best when constructing your bracelet, but try your hand at some thinner cording as well. You just might like the look! Be sure to pickup some collapsible needles that are made just for bead work. The flexibility of these needles makes it easier to weave in and out of the beads. You'll also need a strong, fine thread, or my favorite, string beading wire. This wire is strong and flexibile, and perfect for constructing durable bracelets. Finally, make sure you have some binder clips, scissors and a clipboard or other sturdy, thin surface to work on. If there are children in your household, the cover of a small board book will do ;) Got everything you need? Click here to visit my Youtube channel and check out the tutorial. Have fun, and as always, I send you peace, love and inspiration, from my heart to yours! -The Bohemian Gem
